Audis are understated, and probably in the US underated too. The S4 is a particularly cool car in my opinion. It looks to the casual observer like a regular A4, but packs some serious performance from it's V8 engine.

Compare with the BMW M3, that is clearly a motorsport tuned road car. Even my granny wouldn't confuse an M3 with a 330i.

The Audit TT is also cool, and is already a design classic.

The conflict between Audi and BMW has long gone on perpetually because of the fact the 1st ones rolled off the line. Tho they are ordinary they are very distinctive, between the feel and dealing with and additionally engine. it is extra of a private decision. I honestly have owned a M3 and a S4 and the two have issues i admire approximately each. no count if its the grip of the line and seats of the BMW, or the feel and gentle rigidity of the Audi. in the top no count which one you % you have gotten an amazing gadget which would be very exciting to rigidity and own.

great ergonomics and interior design (These days, pre '98 models pretty harsh, as were most German cars at the time), too expensive for the quality of build

Feels good but not a great value.

Will come down to your value system...

Chicks love them I can tell you that. They are nice and quick with the turbo and rip turns with the quattro. Like the other guy said however, very expensive to maintain and repair.
